Paper separator of phases.
Made with linters of cotton and noble cellulose soaked in a type of stabilized hydrophobic silicone that allows the separation of mixed samples, that is, formed by an aqueous phase and an organic phase.
Its use is specially indicated in the separation of samples of aqueous phases and petroleum, ether, chlorofom, oils, filtration of solvents for estraction, separation of emulsions, etc.
